Hi Friends & Family,

As you might, or might not, know...last year our family was hit with the devasting loss of two of our growing babies. Bringing our family loss total up to four in the last 5 years. This casue is so near and dear to my heart.

Last year was the first year we found out and decided to particpiate in the Hinds Hospice Angel Babies Walk. It made such an impactful and lasting impression on us that we immedaitely knew we'd be creating a team the following year (this year.) So here we are, and its that time.

Angel Babies is a vital resource for families who have lost a pregnancy, suffer from infertility, lost a baby, or have a baby with a life-limiting illness.

People are not taught how to deal with the death of a baby. Our friends and family often don't know what to say. Most people expect the parents, especially the father, to return to work within a few days after the loss and be "back to normal" within a matter of months. But the death of a baby changes parents forever, and results in a uniquely deep and personal grieving process. The Angel Babies/Bebitos Angelitos bereavement service at Hinds Hospice provides families with helpful information and support during their journey of grief and mourning.

This program is only available at Hinds Hospice and depends on community funding. If you're suffering with the loss of a child, in any capacity, Hind's Hospice has multiple types of support groups for parents, siblings, and all family members to sign up for.
